Services in Spanish
Our community “Madre dei Cristiani” includes also the Spanish
speaking people (Latinos) living in Verdun, La Salle, Lachine, Dorval).
Services being offered to the Latinos are the following:
1. A Mass in Spanish every Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
2. Other liturgical celebrations on special occasions
3. Catechism in Spanish to children preparing for First Communion and
Confirmation. Catechism is being held on Sunday morning before the 12:30
pm Mass.
4. Baptism in Spanish preceded by the preparation of parents and godparents
5. Private counseling offered by Father Avila and Deacon Alberto Figueredo
6. Special attention and help given to the new comers through initiatives
of the Latino community committees.
